Plum Beret

Earlier in the year I knitted what I thought would be a beach hat for myself.  Now when I say beach hat, I mean something for those cold winter walks with the dogs.  Something to keep the wind out of my ears, not the sun out of my eyes.

The hat ended up being given to my lovely husband Ian.  This month I’ve altered the pattern to create a beautiful beret for myself.  I hope you like it!

Use 5mm circular needles and Aran yarn.  Once again I used a Perran Yarn.  85% Superwash Merino/15% Donegal Nep Aran.  Shade Blackcurrant Sorbet.
